2023 could be a very good year for Interntional Education in Australia

"International students are returning to Australian campuses en masse with early indicators revealing that 2023 could be a blockbuster year, possibly even eclipsing the 2019 record of $40 billion in export revenue." This was revealed in a social media post shared by Louise Nicol, founder of Asia Careers Group.

"Student recruitment firms say prospective student leads are at a 12-year high. An unexpected bullish return of students in the first half of 2022, especially since borders did not reopen until last December, is expected to flow on into record enrolments in 2023", claims Ms Nicol.

It is clear that there are other stakeholders who are of the same opinion as Ms Nicol. In fact, Andrew Barkla, chief executive of global student recruitment giant IDP Education Ltd, said that "Australia will be back in 2023. It will be back and probably our largest year ever, even ahead of 2019".

Jake Foster, chief commercial officer with student recruitment firm AECC Global also has a very positive outlook for Australian international education for the coming year. “The demand we are seeing for Australian international #education is at record levels, the challenge is for our government to process student visas in a timely manner as they seek to study here,” Mr Foster said. “We have never seen a stronger outlook!”

This is definitely the way to start the week!! Great news from Australia and we couldn't be happier to share it with you all!
